Maintaining a comprehensive formulary for all medications that have been received and will be taken on the trip is imperative. This will help the group quantify and know exactly what is available during clinics.

Having an pharmacotherapeutic sheet for the medications on your teams' formulary, including common adult and pediatric dosing, side effects, indications, and counseling points (in spanish), will be helpful during your trip.

Consider this as a formulary for your supplies. All supplies should be documented and split evenly between two bags in order to faciliatate easy distribution to the clinics. Splitting supplies before travel is ideal and will help save time upon arrival in Nicaragua.

ORGANIZING CLINIC DOCUMENTS

Teamwork is key in organizing and maintaining all group paperwork for the trip. Ensure that your team has a leader for each of these categories and that all documents are created prior to your trip.
